Predominantly aged in ex-Bourbon, this whisky has been finished for 2 years in an ex-Mudbrick French Oak Chardonnay barrel. Presented at 46%, the Chardonnay character on the nose of melting butter and oak blends with sherbet lemons and honey. On the palate, more umami flavours with sweet miso, lemon and butter. A deliciously smooth, oily mouthfeel and a long finish of toasted hazelnuts, bready malt and Waiheke Whisky's trademark salinity.

Double distilled in copper pot stills from a half tonne mash of NZ peated malt, the liquid was first aged in American oak for 4 years. This particular whisky was then finished for another year in Waiheke Whisky's own Waiheke Island Vintage 'Port wine' Barrel. Aroma: dark berry fruits, dried dates, orange peel, vanilla and peat smoke. Palate: rich and mouth filling with red fruits, caramel and smoke with a sweet subtle oak finish.

Made from peated New Zealand malt, double distilled and aged in American oak casks. Full bodied and easy drinking, Moss is a gateway to New Zealand peat. With new make crafted from Cryer NZ Ale Malt, this whisky has been aged for five years, with the majority of the ageing process taking place in STR French oak barrels, followed by a finish in ex-Bourbon barrels.
