Twelfth Hour Distillery was born from a desire to combine fresh, tantalizing, and exotic botanicals from around the globe with premium New Zealand gin. They utilise a small batch distillation process, which ensures handcrafted premium quality every time. After 22 iterations uniting global botanicals with the powerful makrut (kaffir lime) Twelfth Hour Dry Gin has a clean, crisp aroma on the nose. An initial hit of makrut on the tongue leads into a long dry finish that sees the revitalizing taste linger on the palate. A punchy gin perfect for summer, though crafted to be enjoyed all year round. Team it up with your favourite tonic then immerse a bruised Kaffir lime leaf to enhance the lead botanical or garnish with a ribbon of cucumber for a refreshing twist.

This Blossom Gin is born from a base of locally grown barley that is distilled into a traditional shochu spirit. The shochu is redistilled with juniper, regional citrus, cherry blossom and native botanicals, always exercising restraint in the pursuit of clarity and perfection. The fruits of this endeavour are born out in the delicate blossom aromas that emulate those found in the mountains and coastline surrounding our home in Kagoshima.

Our Yuzu Gin is born from a base of locally grown barley that is distilled into a traditional shochu spirit. The shochu is redistilled with juniper, yuzu, regional citrus and botanicals, respecting the 1500 year old tradition of cultivating and harvesting yuzu in Japan. The yuzu flavour is tart and fragrant, resembling that of the lemon and grapefruit, with overtones of mandarin orange.

A classic 'Tokyo Dry Gin' that is the perfect foundation of the Ukiyo range. Featuring 11 botanicals including Yuzu, Mikan, Sakura and Sansho, this expression celebrates Japan's diverse terroir and the tastes of the Japanese harvest.

Predominantly aged in ex-Bourbon, this whisky has been finished for 2 years in an ex-Mudbrick French Oak Chardonnay barrel. Presented at 46%, the Chardonnay character on the nose of melting butter and oak blends with sherbet lemons and honey. On the palate, more umami flavours with sweet miso, lemon and butter. A deliciously smooth, oily mouthfeel and a long finish of toasted hazelnuts, bready malt and Waiheke Whisky's trademark salinity.

Double distilled in copper pot stills from a half tonne mash of NZ peated malt, the liquid was first aged in American oak for 4 years. This particular whisky was then finished for another year in Waiheke Whisky's own Waiheke Island Vintage 'Port wine' Barrel. Aroma: dark berry fruits, dried dates, orange peel, vanilla and peat smoke. Palate: rich and mouth filling with red fruits, caramel and smoke with a sweet subtle oak finish.

The entry is smooth and slightly creamy, with a surprising depth of flavour. Sweet malt and caramelised sugar dance on the tongue, complemented by a touch of orchard fruits - ripe apples and pears. The peat influence emerges gently, adding layers of earthy smoke that intertwine seamlessly with notes of oak and a hint of coastal brininess. Medium-long and satisfying, with the hint of peat smoke lingering alongside a final flourish of dried fruit and a whisper of dark chocolate.

This delicious American style whisky is made from 51% corn, 21% Rye and 28% Barley. Matured in Waiheke Whisky's oceanside barrel house, it has a grassy, spicy tone with a distinct Rye note that balances the sweetness of the honey. Look for notes of toasted oak, spices and vanilla wrapped in the phenolic sweetness of Manuka honey. Contains 100% natural Manuka Honey made on Waiheke Island by the Waiheke Honey Co. - 'Life is Sweet'

This delicious American style whisky is made from 51% corn, 21% Rye and 28% Barley. Matured in Waiheke Whisky's oceanside barrel house, it has a grassy, spicy finish with a distinct rye note. Look for notes of toasted oak, spices and vanilla. Cream corn and smooth caramel finishes with a hint of rye bite.

Made from peated New Zealand malt, double distilled and aged in American oak casks. Full bodied and easy drinking, Moss is a gateway to New Zealand peat. A crowd pleasing whisky with floral aromas of jasmine, honey, liquorice, vanilla bean and cough syrup, created by the interaction of the lightly peated malt with the American oak wine barrels, which have been shaved, toasted and re-charred (STR). Further maturation in first fill bourbon barrels provides a creamy texture and a long lingering finish with spice and sweet fruit, and a teasing hint of smoke.

With new make crafted from Cryer NZ Ale Malt, this whisky has been aged for five years, with the majority of the ageing process taking place in STR French oak barrels, followed by a finish in ex-Bourbon barrels. On the nose, The Sweetwater presents a sweet bouquet of honey, orange, and vanilla. The palate begins with notes of candied orange, apricot, and honey comb, leading to a dry, peppery finish with hints of lemon and pips. It's not cloying and the tannins from the French oak barrels provide a satisfying finish that leaves you wanting more.

This classic London Dry Gin is distilled with spring water from the Warner's farm and eleven botanicals, including cardamom and hedgerow elderflower. Elegantly balanced with juniper and spice, this epic gin won Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition before its launch in June 2019.
