KI NO BI (The Beauty of the Seasons) is inspired by tradition and is distilled, blended and bottled in Kyoto. This gin is made in a recognisably dry style, but with a distinct Japanese accent.

KI NO BI SEI is made with the same intricate production method as the original KI NO BI; using 11 botanicals distilled in six distinct flavour categories. The final blend has been recalibrated the distilling team to bring out the best of each botanical at the higher proof. Although often confused with 100 Proof or 57.1% ABV, this bottling is at the traditional British Navy Strength of 54.5% ABV.

KI NO TEA was created in collaboration with tea-grower and blender, Hori-Shichimeien, founded in the Meiji era in 1879. Based in the famous Uji region to the south of Kyoto city, a number if super-premium Uji teas have been specially selected to form the heart of KI NO TEA. Tencha and Gyokuro provide intense aromas and depth of flavour with a wonderful sweetness that occurs naturally in the distillation of these superior teas.

The perfect partnership of Oloroso sherry seasoned American and European oak casks creates the distinctive, warm character of this harmonious single malt. Our skilled whisky making team optimise the right mix of European and American sherry seasoned oak casks to allow the delicate and indulgent flavours of American oak to take centre stage while the more traditional Macallan characteristics of rich fruits, sherry and wood spice provide a reassuringly familiar backdrop.

The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old forms part of the Sherry Oak range which features a series of single malt whiskies matured exclusively in hand-picked sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez for richness and complexity. A matured character, the 12 Years Old delivers rich wood spice and dried fruits and a natural rich gold colour.

Two oaks, creating the perfect harmony within one exceptional single malt whisky. Macallan Double Cask whiskies are aged in two types of oak, in specially selected hand-crafted casks seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry. American oak imparts delicate flavours of vanilla, citrus and butterscotch. European oak delivers the unmistakable subtle spice of The Macallan. Once matured, two exceptional whiskies unite to create a distinctive single malt with a sweeter, warmer taste and character.

Full of symbolism linked to Scotland's Hogmanay celebrations on the 31st of December and the 'first footing' tradition, where it's good luck for the first person welcomed into your home after midnight to bring whisky, shortbread and coal. There are shortbread notes aplenty in this Highland single malt, coming through from bourbon barrels, and sweet festive spice from sherry seasoned American and European oak casks. Presented in a box with artwork by Erica Dorn, with the red colours representing the warm fire from the coal. A fabulous whisky to have on hand for festivities, it pairs wonderfully with shortbread of course!
