First made in 1982, Awatea continues to represent the best of the classic Hawke's Bay Cabernets/Merlot blend. Floral aromas with intense blackberry, currant and dark plum flavours lead to a rich, supple palate with a sustained finish. Awatea will continue to evolve in bottle for ten years from harvest.

The Gimblett; is traditionally made from a blend of grape varieties. The Cabernet family gives structure and fresh aromatics. Merlot gives richness and mid-palate weight with Malbec helping with complexity, density and colour.

Ever since the first release from the 1972 vintage, Church Block blends have been synonymous with great McLaren Vale red wine. Early wines were sourced from a neighbouring vineyard which ran adjacent to a small Bethany Church. The Wirra Wirra MVCG Cabernet Sauvignon is a refined and expressive wine that reflects the distinct character of McLaren Vale. The initials MVCG stand for McLaren Vale Cricket Ground, a nod to the unrealised dream of Wirra Wirra's founder, Greg Trott, to build a world-class cricket ground in his home village. This wine, composed predominantly of Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Shiraz, showcases the best of the region's terroir, especially from the biodynamic Bell Tower vineyard.
