With new make crafted from Cryer NZ Ale Malt, this whisky has been aged for five years, with the majority of the ageing process taking place in STR French oak barrels, followed by a finish in ex-Bourbon barrels. On the nose, The Sweetwater presents a sweet bouquet of honey, orange, and vanilla. The palate begins with notes of candied orange, apricot, and honey comb, leading to a dry, peppery finish with hints of lemon and pips. It's not cloying and the tannins from the French oak barrels provide a satisfying finish that leaves you wanting more.

Woodford Reserve Kentucky Straight Malt Whiskey uses a base of 51% malt and is aged in new charred oak barrels, making it a richly flavourful, complex malt whiskey. A blend of Single Pot Still and Single Malt Irish whiskey, aged in two types of wood - American Oak Bourbon Barrels from Kentucky and French Oak Cognac Casks from the Cognac Region in France. It is triple-distilled, non-chill filtered and bottled at 46% ABV. This expression is made possible by a close collaboration between the Walsh family in Ireland's County Carlow and the Legaret family in Cognac, France.
