Initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks to develop a soft, mellow character, it is then finished in hand-selected sherry casks from esteemed cooperages in southern Spain. The result is a whisky with a warm amber gold hue and a rich flavour profile. On the nose, expect notes of vanilla, caramel, banana, and a touch of sweet milk chocolate with fresh ginger. The palate unfolds in layers of maple syrup, raisin, and orange, rounded out with hints of apricot and melon.

Initially matured in American oak ex-bourbon casks for smoothness and depth, it is then finished in Sauvignon Blanc white wine casks, adding bright, aromatic layers. Expect notes of honeydew melon and vanilla woven into Tamnavulin's classic sweet, smooth, and fruity house style. In the glass, it shows a polished amber hue. The nose is vibrant with aromas of honeydew melon, green apple, white peach, and vanilla coconut cream. On the palate, you'll find zesty lemon, grapefruit, and baked apple tart, lifted by a gentle touch of ginger and cinnamon spice.

Following on from their award-winning Revival and Renaissance series of Irish Whiskeys, this first release consists of hand-selected casks chosen from reserves of their very best and oldest single malt. Rising Reserve No.1 is a 21 Year Old Irish Single Malt that has been aged initially in ex-bourbon casks which then undergoes a second period of maturation in high quality Carcavelos casks. Bottled at 46% ABV with no chill filtration this release is limited to just 6000 bottles.
