Aged in tank on lees without oak. A juicy and gently fruity wine made from a blend of red varieties offering soft red berry and plum flavours, with just a touch of natural sweetness. A proprietary estate red blend sourced mainly from the warm, inland soils of Bridge Pa Triangle and Gimblett Gravels. A delicious, full bodied Hawkes Bay Chardonnay. With minimal oak influence the wine is all about the grape, showcasing peach and citrus flavours so typical of Hawkes Bay Chardonnay. This Merlot based blend grown in the arid, stony soils of the famed Gimblett Gravels has long been a speciality of Esk Valley. With perfectly ripened fruit and custom made concrete fermenters we have produced a smooth and full bodied signature style, bursting with flavours of blackcurrant, dried herbs, plums and blackberry. A beautifully complex wine that can be enjoyed now or will age gracefully for several years.

This is an elegant and delicious style of Pinot Gris with aromas and flavours of baked pear, honey, citrus and apricot. It is mouth-filling and complex, with a hint of residual sugar perfectly balancing the acidity. It finishes long and dry.
