A sophisticated blend of Cinsault and Grenache Noir, it is kept on fine lees throughout winter and spring to build texture and complexity, resulting in a wine of elegance and delicate fragrance. Dry and refined, it shows subtle spice on the nose, leading to a soft, vinous palate brimming with ripe fruit. Le Phant Rosé is made from Syrah and Tempranillo grapes, grown in Elephant Hill's Te Awanga and Bridge Pa Triangle vineyards. Left to soak on skins allowing a gentle extraction of colour and flavour. Aged in tank on lees without oak. A juicy and gently fruity wine made from a blend of red varieties offering soft red berry and plum flavours, with just a touch of natural sweetness. This is a medium bodied and elegant Hawke's Bay Chardonnay. Its flavour profile is a mix of stonefruit, grilled nuts, grapefruit and yeasty nuances. It is both complex and delicious.
