Brown Brothers Strawberries and Cream is inspired by the taste of summer, this Limited Edition combines the Brown Brothers best-selling Moscato with a hint of sun-ripened strawberries, jam, and vanilla cream. Camshorn, originally a Suffolk sheep farm, sits sheltered from prevailing winds by hills on both sides. The vineyard's clay and gravel soils, along with its sun-trap climate, are key to capturing concentrated flavours. Together with a range of clay and gravel soils, this sunny valley, sheltered from the prevailing winds, is the perfect setting for growing elegantly styled and concentrated Sauvignon Blanc.

This Chardonnay is a subtle mix of stone fruit, nectarine and white peach aromas, with hints of sweet ground almonds and toasted oak. The complex flavours on the palate are complimented by a full bodied structure, with a lees influence. The vanilla and primary fruit characters complement the well balanced natural acidity, leaving the wine with a long creamy vanilla finish.

This Pinot Gris has a textural element on the palate that is reflective of an Alsatian style whilst retaining a clean acidity. Notes of pear and fresh Braeburn apples are present, balanced by a hint of clove spice.

A vibrant fresh nose displaying classic Sauvignon Blanc characters of passionfruit, mango and lemongrass. The palate is packed with fresh fruits which are supported by a zesty, crisp acidity and classic Central Otago minerality. The sweetness of fruit adds to the texture and weight of the wine which leads into a lingering finish of tropical fruits and grapefruit. This is a crisp, elegant and refreshing wine.

Closeburn is Chard Farm's un-oaked Chardonnay. The fruit is grown throughout the Central Otago region and exhibits the regions natural elegant fruit flavours and mineral complexity. The wine is fermented in tank to retain its bright fruit. It is then left to rest on its yeast lees to gain some doughy complexity and softness. This is a refreshing full-bodied wine, unencumbered by oak and superb with food. Juicy nectarine and pear fruits, with apple blossom floral tones giving a nice lift to the attractive bouquet. The palate displays wonderful purity of tree fruit flavour. There is a nice flow to the structure and length, with good balance and chewy acidity.

Chard Farm's Pinot Gris is made from fruit grown on our Tiger, and Sinclair vineyards in the Parkburn area of Cromwell. All the grapes are hand harvested and fermented in small lots in stainless steel tanks helping to retain fruit purity and finesse. The wine is full, dry, and textural, and displays excellent fruit structure, intensity, and mineral length. Leaps out of the glass with a rich floral bouquet and layers of spicy pear and quince fruit. The ample autumn fruits build into a supple and full palate before easing out to a pleasantly persistent finish.

Chard Farm's Central Otago grown Sauvignon Blanc is made to display classic Sauvignon herbaceousness, a touch of tropical fruit and a textural structure we only see in Central Otago Sauvignon Blanc. It is something a little different. The wine is full and textural in the mouth and has long lasting flavour. Handpicked and whole bunch pressed this is a small batch wine. Wild yeast fermentation, extended lees contact, and a small portion fermented in barrel gives the wine the texture and length we are looking for. An alluring medley of passion fruit, gooseberry, and fresh citrus with subtle herbal undertones. Vibrant and zesty, enticing with sweet tropical notes, balanced with a tangy burst of citrus. The gooseberry and herbal notes add a refreshing complexity and lively finish.
