The Wirra Wirra MVCG Cabernet Sauvignon is a refined and expressive wine that reflects the distinct character of McLaren Vale. The initials MVCG stand for McLaren Vale Cricket Ground, a nod to the unrealised dream of Wirra Wirra's founder, Greg Trott, to build a world-class cricket ground in his home village. This wine, composed predominantly of Cabernet Sauvignon with a touch of Shiraz, showcases the best of the region's terroir, especially from the biodynamic Bell Tower vineyard.

Unmistakably South Australian Shiraz, this wine is packed with colour and bright aromatics. Flavours of red berries, milk chocolate, vanilla bean and spice softened by ripe rounded tannins and integrated acidity. Mouth filling and satisfying.

Planted in 1972, the Scrubby Rise vineyards at Wirra Wirra sit on ancient rocks more than 100,000 years old. The fact that they are totally flat and contain no 'scrub' or bush whatsoever was of more interest to the late Greg Trott, who gave them their dubious name. As one might call a redhead 'Bluey' or a tall man 'Shorty', Trott drew on traditional Aussie humour to make the point that we shouldn't take life too seriously. Be dedicated to your task he said, but everything else should be fun. That's a philosophy they aspire to at Wirra Wirra, as they raise a glass of this classic McLaren Vale shiraz.

Pepperjack Mid strikes a balance between the art of traditional winemaking that Pepperjack is renowned for, and the science of cutting-edge de-alcoholisation and flavour retention technology. Still bursting with quintessential Pepperjack character, this mid-strength wine displays aromas of blackberries and plums with hints of pepper and spice. The palate is rich, round, and soft with concentrated berry fruits and soft velvety tannins.

The colour: Deep red robe with hints of violet. The nose: Intense with notes of black fruit, violets and spices. The palate: Generous with good, mellow tannins followed by a lovely, spicy finish.

Vibrant and expressive, the Pepperjack Central Otago Pinot Noir pours a brilliant scarlet with a subtle violet hue. Enticing aromas of juicy plum, dark cherry, and mocha are lifted by a hint of wild thyme, setting the stage for a richly layered palate. Bursting with dark cherry and luscious cassis, this Pinot is balanced by silky tannins and a supple mouthfeel. Savoury cocoa notes and resinous spices from oak and whole bunch fermentation add depth, drawing the red and blue fruits across the palate, melding to a complex and concentrated finish.

Full bodied, plush and round, rich dark fruit featuring blackcurrant and plum. Some herbaceous notes, with firm slightly grippy tannins and a persistent long finish.

Rich blackberry flavours and dark mocha chocolate. The palate is superbly balanced with smooth silky tannins.

A deep dark colour with brilliant purple hues. The bouquet is rich in blackcurrants with hints of chocolate and aniseed followed by dark berry fruits on the palate. The wine is superbly balanced with soft silky tannins on the finish.

Pristine Australian Vineyards. Pure water from the nearby, free flowing Murray River. Environmentally sound vineyard practices and grapes grown in McPherson's vibrant sandy loam soil combine to make this rich, full bodied and vibrant classic Australian red. XV Pure displays notes of spice and rich black fruits complemented with elegant oak. Perfectly balanced, with a firm, smooth tannin structure, it finishes with an enduring length of ripe fruit and French oak. Perfect with red meats and spicy Asian dishes, try this wine with a barbecued steak, or slow cooked, rich beef ribs.

This is a wine of great intensity. It has distinctive blackcurrant and cassis fruit flavours. Subtle oak characters of cedar cigar box and spice are also evident. The tannins are fine and elegant - a hallmark of the varietal. The palate is well balanced, complex and fulfilling and lingers on the finish.

The wine has a wonderful aroma displaying dark plum, redcurrant and red cherry fruits along with subtle chocolate and a touch of oak derived spice. The palate is plump & generous with ripe fruit characters of plum, cherry and redcurrant. Mocha coffee and subtle aniseed characters are also present along with vanillan oak to balance the fruit flavours. The wine is medium-bodied with a soft mid-palate & pleasing tannin structure. It is a well balanced wine with great texture, good length and enjoyable fruit flavours on the finish.
