The Yonne area used to be the largest vineyard in France. Over 300 boats, called the 'Coches d'Eau' shipped tavern wines to Paris. With reference to this historical tradition, the 'Les Coches' range is a collection of wines resulting from a meticulous selection, ageing and blending work fully expressing the house style and values of J.MOREAU & Fils since 1814. Sweetly fruited and elegantly complex, the wine shows dark cherry, thyme, roasted nut and earthy mushroom aromas on the nose, followed by a silky-smooth palate offering ripe berry flavours with savoury nuances, finishing smooth and rounded. At its best: now to 2025. A unique blend of Pinot from Languedoc (fruit weight), Burgundy (intensity) and the Loire (finesse).
