You did well to seek out the West Coast IPA. Inspired by a West Coast heavy metal band, it's noisy on the nose the piney, tropical aromas, then head bangs on the taste buds, with citrus and passionfruit flavours, leading to a bitter hoppy finale. This Pacific Pilsner has been dry-hopped with NZ and US hops to make it super-tasty, while it's light body and crisp finish make it super-refreshing. If you're looking for a planet friendly, plant-based alternative to cow's milk you've come to the right can. Oatski is a collaboration with Emerson's friends at Otis Oat M!lk. 200 litres of Southland-grown oat milk went into the tank with Motueka, Rakau, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops. The result is a rich, fruity, hazy IPA, with a luxuriously creamy mouthfeel. They haven't tried it on cereal yet, but it's great in a glass.

New Zealand's first American style IPA, released in 2008, has gone on to be New Zealand's most awarded beer. In recent years, it has won six back to back Best in Class trophies around the world including New Zealand, Australia and Sweden.

This is a classic West Coast (USA) style IPA. It has a dry finish, with limited malt sweetness, which accentuates the hop flavour and hop bitterness. So the beer is punchy on hop flavour, and firm lingering hop bitterness. The bitterness is 66 IBU - hoppy, bitter, dry.

After the massive success of Blue Low Carb Pale Ale Epic now have a Hazy joining their low carb family. Crush is a fresh and fruity hazy pale ale with full flavour and 75% less carbs than their Joose Party Hazy Pale Ale.

Hop Dragon - after the success of Epic's fresh hop beer Hop Gator last year they thought "how do we make this bigger and better". What is a flying Gator they thought, because they fly the hops from the hop farm on the same morning as they are harvested and have them in the beer just after lunch so they are as fresh as we can possibly get them? A Dragon, and coincidentally it is the year of the Dragon. Hop Dragon is packful of freshly harvested green, fresh Riwaka hops from Eggers Hop Farm in Upper Moutere. Hop farmer Kem gets up super early and heads out in the dark to find the freshest, ripest Riwaka hops he can find, Once again he has made us all proud. Hop Dragon is a perfect balance of the fresh green hop character and a deliciously drinkable Hazy Fresh Hop IPA.

Epic have used an 'Epic' amount of hops as you would expect from them. Epic have the biggest, juiciest, stickiest Citra, Mosaic and Simcoe hops they could find. A blend of T90 and Cryo hops to give the maximum desired aromas and flavours. It's like drizzling freshly squeezed passion fruit, mango and pineapple juice across your tongue. 5.3% alc/vol and a super low bitterness and maximum haze, will keep every Hazy-Head happy with being able to sit down and drink a few from the six pack.

This hazy IPA is like a craft journey, adventurous, fleeting, always searching for the next brew. Hop varieties, Mosaic, Cryopop, and Summit.

A classic label indicates this classic expression of this version of an IPA. It's been a long time since Epic made an IPA using the classic C hops of Chinook, Cascade and Centennial, balanced with a touch of sweet crystal malt, that delivers a slightly richer colour, and a more obvious sweeter, malty note which marries perfectly with the grapefruit and piney notes from the hops. Its like stepping back in time with the way the original IPA's use to be.
