A special cuvée made only in exceptional years, when assemblage tastings reveal two outstanding barrels worthy of being bottled on their own. Crafted from low-yielding old vine Grenache and Carignan Noir, supported by Syrah and Mourvèdre grown in the hills above the village of Cairanne in the southern Rhône. A wine defined by finesse rather than power, offering explosive aromas of beautifully ripe red fruits layered with mocha and subtly sweet oak.
